Is she dead or alive? GOLDEN GIRL UNMASKED

One of the very first scenes we watched from Goldfinger was the opening credits in which pictures were projected on a golden girl. We were then told that the woman playing the girl was dead, or rumored to have suffocated from the gold paint. I found an interesting link that will tell you all the answers and even more juicy trivia on Goldfinger. This link also contains an easy to read summary and plot description. When you get to the web page, scroll down past the plot summary until you see "trivia", but I still say if you are interested you will enjoy the short synthesis.
Enjoy!

WELL SEEING THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVEN'T COMMENTED I'VE DECIDED TO GIVE THE ANSWER - SHE IS ALIVE!!! SHE ACTUALLY PLAYS THE MASSEUSE THAT BOND CARELESSLY DISMISSES IN THE MIAMI HOTEL.

I ALSO FOUND A LINK THAT EXPLAINS THIS SKIN ASPHYXIATION IS POSSIBLE, HOWEVER REMEMBER SHIRLEY EATON DID NOT DIE ON SET.

The gold-painted girl in the opening credits is actually Margaret Nolan who
also plays Bond's Miami masseuse, Dink.

YOU CAN ALSO CHECK OUT THE ASPHYXIATION ARGUMENT DISSCUSSING THE URBAN LEGEND OF SKIN SUFFOCATION. THIS URBAN LEGEND, AS FAMOUS AS IT IS, ALSO PREMIERED ON THE POPULAR TV SHOW MYTHBUSTERS, AND IN THE WORDS OF BUSHNELL - I HEART MYTHBUSTERS!
