"The Da Vinci Code", best selling novel turned motion picture, stirred up some controversy among the Christian community for its portrayal of the beliefs and life of Jesus Christ. The movie fails to live up to the expectations of reviewer Owen Gleiberman. It is obvious that turning a book into a movie is not easy, but as Gleiberman agrees, the movie "fails to build up intellectual excitement".
